Art Teacher - Nov 2020
Art Teacher - Temporary Position
We have a temporary position to cover a long term illness, provisionally until the end of the Summer Term 2021.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within Gloucester & Forest Alternative Provision School (APS).
Gloucester & Forest APS provides a broad and balance curriculum for pupils who are unable to access learning opportunities in a mainstream setting. Our pupils range from KS1 – 4 and present a variety of aptitudes and abilities. We are committed to inclusion and work to ensure success for our pupils and have enjoyed success in supporting pupils, schools and parents. We are keen to maintain all aspects of excellent practice, however recognise that there is plenty of opportunity to develop our offer further to ensure our school becomes an outstanding provision.
Gloucester & Forest APS has three separate sites, The Raikes Centre and Russet House in Gloucester, and The Joys Green Centre in the Forest of Dean. We are recruiting a teacher who will be able to deliver KS4 Art to GCSE level at our Russet House Centre.
This is a great opportunity for an outstanding teacher to build on, and add to, their existing skills in this wide ranging and varied context. The successful applicant will be required to ensure the continued the delivery of our GCSE Art to year 11 students due to complete their exams in 2021.
We are looking for a candidate who:
